The Time is NOW!

Happy New Year! Seasons come and seasons go, and I am convinced that we are embarking on an exciting new one as we enter 2024. 

Like me, you may have experienced some pretty extreme challenges this past year. Also like me, you can probably attest to the fact that God’s grace has sustained you daily and that He has greeted you each day with His love and tender mercies. What a good and faithful Father we have!

As 2023 was drawing to a close, a fresh message began stirring within me. Everywhere I turned, the words “breakthrough,” “shift,” “suddenly,” and “harvest” were coming to me through various people and messages. Aren’t those great words! Can you see how they are all related? Each one has “gone off” in me as I’ve heard them, and I know that I know that God is speaking to me.

Finally, it dawned on me: God has been preparing me for an entirely new, glorious season coming in 2024. I believe this is true for you, too, if you will take hold of it! Isn’t this great news! Many of you have been standing steadfastly on God’s wonderful promises. You have taken comfort in the fact that He watches over His Word to perform it (Jer. 1:12) and that all of His promises are yes and amen (2 Cor. 1:20). You’ve believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living (Ps. 27:13), regardless of natural circumstances that have tried to dictate otherwise. You’ve said no to the enemy’s lies and yes to what God says.

Your heavenly Father has proudly watched as you have chosen life, chosen to trust Him, to believe Him. His blood has covered you whenever you’ve stumbled. Take heart, my precious sister, breakthrough is coming! Suddenly, things are getting ready to shift and change, harvest time is getting ready to overtake you! 

One thing I learned a long time ago is that our expectation is God’s invitation. Join with me in raising our expectations and tenaciously taking hold of this new harvest season. You may not even see an inkling of it yet, but rest assured, it’s coming. See it through the eyes of faith and call those things that be not as though they are (Rom. 4:17).

I love how God always confirms through His Word what He puts into our hearts. Here is the confirmation that He has led me to:

"Yes indeed, it won't be long now." GOD's Decree. "Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won't be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills.”

Amos 9:13 MSG

Wow! This verse bears witness with me for this moment in time! This word is for you and me, right here, right now. Won’t you grab hold of it with me?
