Thank you for your interest in the Women in Community Mentoring Program Step 2! If you’ve completed Mentoring Program Step 1, you may register to join us for Step 2! In MP2 you will experience the joy of how God uniquely wants to flow through you to impact others. Drawing from the book The Best of You by Alison Cook, this 8-week Mentoring Program will guide you through biblical strategies to discover your true self, find your voice, and explore your deepest purpose.
In this program you will:
Be personally mentored by the WIC leadership team.
Delve into excellent material that will help you shed old useless patterns and move you forward into greater freedom.
Create your own guided Vision Journal to help you unearth the deep, noble desires God has placed within you. You will discover how to move forward in God’s unique design for your life.
Experience unmatched community with other women who will encourage and support you all the way.
In order for you to make a fully committed decision to MP2 at registration, we’d like to share the expectations of the program in advance.
Our MP2 session will be held:
Day: Mondays, 7:00-8:30 PM in-person only
Duration: 8 Weeks
Dates: March 24 - May 12, 2025
Location: 51st & Elm Area in East Tulsa/Broken Arrow

Purchase the book: The Best of You by Alison Cook. Cost is approximately $20 and can be ordered via Amazon.com.
All participants must commit to the following:
Prior to week 1 meeting:
Listen to the podcast “God’s Vision for Women with Carolyn Custis James.”
Purchase and read chapter 1 in The Best of You by Alison Cook and answer the questions at the end of the outline for week 1 in the space provided there. (A PDF of the course curriculum will be emailed to you after registration.)
Print, bring a digital copy of, or plan to purchase a printed copy of the Course Outline for $10 at the first meeting. You will receive this free via emailed PDF after registration.
Print and take this Gift Assessment.
Either purchase a blank notebook or create a document on your computer that will become your ongoing “Vision Journal”.
Spend some quiet, undisturbed time with the Father and make your first entry as you answer the questions below. Please write a minimum of two paragraphs:
What surprised me about my Gift Assessment results? What piqued my interest and curiosity?
In what context(s) am I currently using some important gifts or abilities? (Church, home, work, formal or informal ministry) And/or in what context would I like to use them?
What would be the ideal situation for me to use my gifts?
Weekly:
Bring your printed or digital copy of the Course Outline.
Read/watch all required materials each week and bring typed or handwritten answers to that week’s discussion questions in the Course Outline.
Bring your typed or handwritten Vision Journal with completed answers from each week’s assignments.
Throughout the course:
Attend all 8 sessions in-person (Zoom is not offered for this course due to the nature of the discussions and ministry time.) Thank you for understanding!
At the end of the 8 weeks, all participants who complete the program (a minimum of 7 out of the 8 sessions) will receive a certificate of completion.
